Differentiation:
- The system utilizes a patented hydrodynamic cavitation devise, called a Demineralizer.
- Provides potable water exceeding both EPA and WHO standards.
- Demineralizer was patent protected in 2009 for the USA.
- Once operating, the system does not require monitoring.
- Water treatment requires NO Ph adjustment.
- The system utilizes oxygen it extracts from the atmosphere.
- The system provides chemical free operation, requiring neither coagulants nor flocculants.
- It is suitable for emergency use, being able to operate using an emergency generator.
- The system is extremely safe. It is designed to shut down if there is a failure in the system.
- The system is able to treat all forms of contaminated water salty or brackish water, acid mine water, frack or other oil polluted water, animal farming waste-water and may be added to existing municipal waste water and desalinization facilities.
- A system footprint for treating 1,000 GPM: 10’ x 13’.
Company History:
- In 2012 through 2015, the system was created under a company name Compliant Water Technologies, Inc. (CWT).
- CWT worked I Pennsylvania with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP), as well as two private laboratories for testing and verifying system results.
- Tests were conducted on bituminous, coal deep mines, bituminous coal surface mines, coal refuse piles, clay mines, sandstone quarry, active and passive AMD treatment plants and a municipal water treatment plant using coal mine drainage as source water for their public water system.
- The PA DEP Bureau of Abandoned Mines monitored the operation, cost and efficiency of the system, and compared it to other systems.
- 24 tests were performed over a six-month period, with all eliminating >95% of all contaminants, All clients received water samples to conduct their own testing.
- Amfire Coal Mine Treatment. CWT replaced the existing system with AWT’s advanced system. Our system operated, un-interrupted, for three years, until the mine was shut down and our equipment was lost.
- First DEP meeting in 2008 with John Varner, Je Allison, Pam Vilavec, and John Forman.
- In 2011, tests were performed at EP Bender
Coal Company, Alpha Natural Resources-Amfire operations, involving 4 different forms of discharge, and Rosebud Coal Company, Unionvale Coal Company, CSF: Ohiopyle Sate Park abandoned mine, Cambria County Park and Recreation Authority, Slippery Rock Creek Watershed Association, and Hastings Borough Municipal Water Supply.
- In 2024 Agri-Water Technologies LLC was incorporated to provide a start-up vehicle for this technology.
